Almost as unique as the journey amongst the picturesque backwaters is our fleet of traditional houseboats called “Kettuvalloms”. Made with age honoured secrets, the boats are built with wood from the jackfruit tree, bound together with strong coir ropes and waterproofed with boiled cashew nut shells coating. Every houseboat in the Indigenous Cruises’ fleet is manned by our trained and hospitable staff and comes with luxuriously equipped amenities. Indigenous Houseboats won best Best Exhibit Award at the International Boat Show held at Le Meridien,Cochin.

The Rooms
The accommodation in our houseboat is simply out of the ordinary. The boat has tastefully furnished, luxuriously appointed bedrooms.
